Gone in 90 seconds: one car written off every minute-and-a-half in the UK

Churchill Car Insurance revealed that around 384,000 vehicles were written off in 2017, which is over 1,000 per day, or one every 90 seconds! It was estimated that nearly 34,000 claims were made on vehicles less than five years old, with the average claim value standing at over £9,000.
