What are the signs I need a suspension check?
Signs your car needs maintenance could be difficulties handling your car such as drifting or pulling on turns, a generally rough ride, nose dives when braking, and signs of imbalance with uneven tread wear on your tyres. If any of these occur, or you feel there are other problems, speak with your mechanic, who can perform a check.
Will I need to replace my suspension?
You will eventually need to replace parts of your suspension system, much like other areas of your car, especially given the high-impact and constant usage of this part. Your shocks and struts are usually replaced around 50,000 miles but can often last 100,000. Like many issues with cars, it depends on your surroundings, so if your vehicle drives on bumpy roads you may need to replace them sooner. There may be fluid leakage from your suspension which makes them greasy and causes damage to the mounts and bushings - this essentially means you will have to replace your whole suspension.
