Congratulations to Luke Merchant, from our esteemed Autocentre team, who has earned a finalist position in the Automotive Technology category at the IMI Skills competition!
Over 3,000 people registered in march, and now 400 students and apprentices across 64 disciplines have made it through to the finals. Luke will compete for the title of Skills Champion in November and we're all rooting for his success! Well done to everyone involved, and best of luck!
WorldSkills UK is an independent charity and a partnership between employers, education and governments, including over 80 countries! The IMI Skills competition is set out to identify the most talented young apprentices working in the automotive sector, and the insights gained from training as part of this global network helps raise standards across the UK.
